With Sketch's MCP server, you can explore, edit and export your designs with Claude.

You can:

• Explore designs and Libraries — compare code to components to Sketch and fix inconsistencies

• Expand and iterate on existing designs — try out new directions, generate alternative flows, and more

• Replace placeholders with lifelike data, or even pull from real data sets

• Organize and export assets

• Generate screens and components as code

• …and much more.

To get started:

1. Make sure Sketch is running

2. Open a document

3. Press **S** to open the command bar, type "MCP", and select "Start MCP Server"

The Sketch MCP server is built in to the Sketch Mac app and runs locally on your device with any open document.
