Build and lead the Claude community in your city. Host local events, bring builders together, and partner with Anthropic to shape the future of Claude.
What you get
The Claude Community Ambassadors program gives you everything you need to create a thriving community of builders in your city.
Grow your local community
Host meetups, workshops, and hackathons that bring builders in your city together. We cover event funding, ready-to-use content, swag, and promotion through Anthropic's channels.
Build and experiment
Stay sharp and teach from experience. Run live demos, prototype ideas, and share what you know with your community. Get monthly API credits from Anthropic to power your demos.
Shape the product
Bring your community's perspective to Anthropic’s product teams. Access pre-release features and Builders Council sessions to influence what gets built.
Connect and contribute
Share what's working in your city and help shape how this program grows through a private Slack with fellow Ambassadors and the Anthropic team.

Community builders
You bring people together. You organize meetups, lead local groups, or hold a visible presence on Discord, Reddit, or X.
Technical users
You have hands-on experience with Claude Code or Claude Cowork and can help others get started and go deeper.

You're genuinely excited about Claude and Anthropic's mission. You help others learn naturally and give honest feedback.
How it works
Ambassadors can be from any background and from anywhere in the world. Multiple ambassadors from the same city are welcome.
Complete the application. Tell us about your background, your experience, and why you want to build your local Claude Community.
We review every application and respond within 2 weeks. Qualified candidates are invited to interview in a short screening call.
Sign our Ambassador Agreement, join the private Slack, and start planning your first event.
FAQ
No. Event sponsorship, API credits, swag, and resources and more are all provided at no cost to you.
No. You should have meaningful experience with Claude Code or Claude Cowork and a track record of community involvement, but a developer title isn't required.
No. The program is global and we actively prioritize geographic diversity. Multiple Ambassadors can operate in the same city.
The program doesn't include direct payment. Benefits include event sponsorship, API credits, networking, swag, and recognition.
Membership is ongoing as long as you're hosting events and staying engaged. If circumstances change, you can step away and reapply when you're ready.
Yes, in most cases. We ask that you're not also an ambassador for a company whose core business competes with Anthropic's. If unsure, mention it in your application and we'll follow up.
Yes! We encourage you to share it on social media, your resume, and LinkedIn.
