How to access nonprofit tools and features

Claude for nonprofits is available on two plans:

  • Team plan: $8/user/month
  • Enterprise plan: $10/user/month

Both plans include access to Claude Sonnet 4.5 and Haiku 4.5, with a minimum of 5 seats for teams under 20.

Nonprofit operations and fundraising connectors

Claude connects to three nonprofit-specific connectors through the Model Context Protocol (MCP):

Who is eligible?

501(c)(3) organizations, K–12 schools, and qualifying healthcare organizations.

Who is not eligible?

Government agencies, political campaigns, higher education institutions, and healthcare systems.

How does validation work?

We partner with Goodstack for nonprofit verification. Team plan validation takes 2–3 minutes. If you have issues with verification, contact Goodstack.

How long does the discount last?

The nonprofit discount remains active as long as your organization maintains its nonprofit status.

What if I already have a full-priced account?

Go to Admin settings > Billing to update your plan, or reach out to our support team.

Is my data used for training?

Note: By default, Anthropic does not use data from Team or Enterprise accounts to train models. Learn more at our Privacy Center and Trust Center.

Can I get a tax exemption?

Submit your tax exemption certificate through support to receive a refund and apply the exemption to future invoices.

What about organizations with fewer than five employees?

Troubleshooting

  • Discount link not working: Clear your browser cache and try again in an incognito window. If the issue persists, contact support.
  • Team plan option greyed out: Make sure you're signed in to the correct account and have admin permissions
  • Email domain questions: All team members don't need the same domain. Learn about allowed email domains.
