HCLTech joins the Claude Partner Network as a Global Premier partner
HCLTech will bring Claude into the solutions it provides for banks, hospitals, telecom companies, and manufacturers.
Anthropic is partnering with HCLTech (opens in new tab), a global technology company with more than 230,000 people in 60 countries. HCLTech will build agentic solutions on Claude for its clients through a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and Center of Excellence, embed Claude in HCLSoftware products, and integrate Claude and Claude Code into AI Force, the platform it uses to run IT services for clients. HCLTech provides solutions for financial services, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare, technology, semiconductor, telecom and media, retail and CPG, and mobility and public services. In these environments, a mistake is expensive and every change needs to be reviewed, logged, and approved. The partnership is built to put Claude into that work with the controls designed for those environments.
How HCLTech is putting Claude to work
HCLTech is bringing Claude into its business in three places and is designing each with guardrails and human review.
- A dedicated Anthropic Business Unit and Center of Excellence. HCLTech’s forward-deployed engineers will set up secure sandbox environments where clients can test Claude against their own systems and data before deploying. The Center will train client workforces, help engineering teams adopt AI-native practices, and build the organizational controls for running agents safely at scale.
- Claude inside HCLSoftware products. HCLSoftware becomes an Anthropic independent software vendor (ISV) partner and will embed Claude in select products across cybersecurity, automation, business process applications, and application development. The first are HCL BigFix for endpoint management, HCL AppScan for application security testing, and the Actian AI analyst for data and analytics.
- Claude and Claude Code in AI Force. AI Force is how HCLTech delivers IT support, code remediation, and digital employee services for the enterprises it serves. Claude and Claude Code go into that platform with policy guardrails, exception handling, and human oversight for high-impact changes. Agents handle the routine work, and HCLTech engineers review and approve anything that touches a client’s production systems.
