How to add Google Docs
In chats
- Click the plus sign (+) in the chat interface
- Select “Add from Google Drive”
- Authenticate with Google on first use
- Search recent documents or paste a document URL
- Claude accesses and processes the document when you send your message
In projects
The integration works only in private projects:- Click “Add Content” in project knowledge
- Select “Google Drive”
- Authenticate on first use
- Search or paste a document URL
- The document becomes available to Claude within that project

Troubleshooting
For reconnection errors:- Navigate to Settings > Integrations
- Find Google Drive
- Click the menu button (…)
- Select “Disconnect”
- Authenticate again when prompted
